Does social media make friendships more real?
I've been slowly deactivating my social media accounts over the past year, and I notice my friendships feel less 'real' now—we rarely share those tiny, mundane updates that used to spark conversations. Some friends say they feel closer to me because our calls are longer, but others think I've become distant. Can we truly maintain meaningful connections without the constant feed of other people's lives, or does the always-on sharing actually help bond us in a way face-to-face chats can't replace?
