Is a DSLR still worth carrying when phone cameras match them?
I've been shooting with a DSLR for a decade, and I've noticed that phone cameras have gotten so good that they can match entry-level DSLRs in good light. Last week, I compared shots from my iPhone 15 Pro and my old Canon Rebel, and except for subtle color differences, I couldn't tell them apart. Yet I still believe there's a magic in using a dedicated camera that makes you slow down and compose better shots. But for most people, is carrying a heavy DSLR worth it when your pocket camera is this capable?
