I've been shooting street photography for five years, and I notice most new photographers obsess over gear instead of composition. My first camera was a cheap DSLR, yet some of my best shots came from that plastic body while friends with Leicas produce forgettable frames. Is technical quality really what makes a photograph meaningful, or are we just chasing specs to avoid learning to see light and moment? I think we've confused the tool with the craft, and that's why so many images feel sterile these days.
