Do wearable health trackers do more harm than good?
I've been reading about the surge in wearable health trackers and how they're supposed to make us healthier, but I'm starting to wonder if they're actually doing more harm than good. My Apple Watch tells me I'm not moving enough, sleeping badly, and my heart rate is sometimes 'elevated' for no reason, and I've caught myself feeling anxious about hitting those daily goals. Are we outsourcing our own well-being to a device that just creates new pressures, or is this constant feedback loop genuinely helpful for building better habits?
