Is wanting something better than having it?
I've been reading about how our brains reward anticipation more than the actual reward itself, which makes me wonder: do we really enjoy the things we chase, or just the chase? For example, I spent months saving for a camera I barely use now—the excitement peaked when I was researching and waiting for delivery. Could it be that constant desire is a design flaw in our psychology, or is there something valuable about never being fully satisfied?
