Does true love require losing part of yourself?
I've been married for eight years, and I still can't decide if compromise in a relationship is a strength or a slow erosion of who you are. Is it possible to truly maintain your individuality while being deeply committed to another person, or is some loss of self inevitable and even necessary for love to survive?
