Can we realistically cut ultra-processed foods without breaking the bank?
I've been keeping a food diary for the last three months, and I'm surprised by how much of what I eat is ultra-processed, even when I think I'm cooking from scratch. A simple jar of pasta sauce or a flavored yogurt adds up quickly, and the ingredient lists are getting longer. So I'm wondering, do you think we can actually cut ultra-processed foods out of our diet without going broke or spending all our time in the kitchen, or is it just a marketing trend that ignores how most people live?
