I've been building custom keyboards for a few years now, and I still can't decide if the premium for boutique switches and aluminum cases is actually worth it for daily typing. A $30 keyboard handles the same emails, but the feel and sound are completely different. Where do you draw the line between a hobby expense and a practical purchase in PC hardware?
