Are Travel Influencers Ruining Authentic Experiences?
I've been backpacking through Southeast Asia for three months, and I'm starting to think that travel influencers are ruining the authentic experience for everyone else. They swarm to the same 'hidden gems,' post the same drone shots, and local prices double overnight. But is it fair to blame them when we all click on their content and follow their itineraries? Maybe the real problem is our own desire for validation rather than genuine exploration.
