Should soft skills be prioritized over technical expertise?
I've been asked to lead a team at work, and while I know the technical side well, I'm realizing that soft skills like listening and clear communication matter just as much. A recent project stalled because we didn't align on expectations early—nothing technical failed, but the process got messy. How do you balance developing soft skills with hard technical expertise in your own career? Is it realistic to expect both to improve at the same pace, or does one always pull ahead?
