I've always been torn between free will and determinism, especially after reading about neuroscience experiments that predict decisions before we're aware of them. If our choices are just outcomes of prior causes, then moral responsibility seems to crumble. Yet, I can't shake the feeling of making deliberate choices daily, like choosing to write this post. Perhaps the question isn't whether free will exists, but how we should live when we're uncertain about its reality.
