I think requiring museum staff to speak only the local language does more harm than good for cultural exchange. In Prague, I watched a Chinese tourist struggle to ask a simple question in Czech, and the guard just shrugged—no English, no Mandarin, nothing. If we truly want to preserve heritage, shouldn't we make it accessible rather than erecting linguistic walls?
