Are individual privacy measures worth the effort?
I recently switched to a privacy-focused browser and started using a VPN, but I'm still unsure if it's making a real difference in my daily online life. My friends say that once you're on social media, your data is already out there, so what's the point of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted? On the other hand, I've read stories about people getting targeted ads for things they only whispered about, which feels creepy. Do you think individual privacy measures are worth the hassle, or is it a losing battle against big tech companies that already know everything about us?
