Is startup flexibility worth the job security risk?
I recently left a stable corporate job to join a startup, and three months in, I'm questioning if the flexible hours and free snacks compensate for the lack of job security and clear career path. My manager keeps promising growth opportunities that never materialize, while my friends in traditional roles are already getting promoted with steady raises. Is taking on that kind of uncertainty really worth it, or are we just romanticizing the startup hustle?
