I'm torn between upgrading my GPU or waiting for the next generation. My current card handles 1080p fine, but I've started playing at 1440p and the frame drops are getting noticeable. Is it worth dropping $700 now for a card that might be obsolete in six months, or should I stick it out with lower settings until the new lineup drops? I've heard rumors about big performance leaps, but those are just rumors at this point.
