Should Seniors Keep Working Longer or Retire Early?
I'm 68 and still work part-time as a consultant, but my friends who retired at 65 are already complaining about boredom and loss of purpose. The common advice to 'stay active' feels shallow when society simultaneously pushes seniors out of meaningful roles. Should we really encourage older people to keep working longer, or is that just a way to avoid restructuring how we value their experience?
