Is traditional TV really obsolete or does it offer something streaming can't?
I grew up watching cable TV with my grandparents, but now that streaming took over, I rarely turn on a live channel. Yet when I visited them last week, we watched a local news broadcast together and something felt different—shared timing, no skipping, even the commercials sparked conversation. Is traditional television really obsolete, or does it offer a kind of communal experience that on-demand can't replace?
