Can you reclaim the good parts of religion without the dogma?
I grew up in a devout Christian household but drifted away in my twenties, and now in my forties I'm actually wondering if I lost something important by leaving. The rituals, the community, the sense of purpose—those parts I miss. But I also can't ignore the historical baggage and the way some doctrines clash with modern science and human rights. For those who've made a similar journey, did you find a way to reclaim the good parts without the dogma, or is it all or nothing?
