Are budget airlines destroying the quality of short-haul travel?
I fly weekly for work and have noticed that budget airlines are chipping away at the quality of short-haul travel. Last month, a two-hour flight felt more like a bus ride with wings—cramped seats, paid water, and a crew that seemed perpetually rushed. Saving money is great, but are we sacrificing basic comfort and service for a price tag? Could the industry be better with fewer, more premium carriers?
