Should equal playtime hold back talented youth soccer players?
I coach a youth soccer team, and I'm convinced that letting everyone play equal minutes is holding our best kids back. In our league, we rotate every line, and as a result, our top players never develop the stamina or composure needed for tight matches. Some parents argue it's fair, but fairness doesn't prepare anyone for real competition. Shouldn't we reward effort and skill instead of just showing up?
