I believe lying is sometimes the more ethical choice, like when a friend asks if their new haircut looks good and it clearly doesn't. Honesty can cause unnecessary hurt, and a small lie preserves their confidence without real harm. But if we normalize white lies, where do we draw the line between kindness and manipulation?
