Homework takes up most of my evenings even though studies show it has little impact on learning. I have seen kids as young as eight spending two hours nightly on repetitive worksheets instead of playing or reading for fun. Why do we keep assigning homework when Finland, with virtually none, outperforms us in critical thinking tests?
