Can faith and science truly coexist without compromise?
Growing up in a religious household in the Midwest, I was taught that faith and science were fundamentally at odds. But after taking a college biology course and studying evolutionary theory alongside my beliefs, I've come to see them as different lenses for exploring the same reality. I'm curious how others reconcile the inherent contradiction between miraculous accounts and empirical evidence—do you think religious texts should be interpreted metaphorically when they conflict with scientific consensus, or is there a line that shouldn't be crossed?
