Is farm-to-table dining worth the premium price?
Farm-to-table restaurants often charge double for the same dish you'd get at a diner, and I'm not convinced the premium is justified. Last week I paid $28 for a salad that was basically lettuce and radishes, while the diner down the street serves a heartier plate for $9. Sure, local produce tastes better, but is it worth pricing out half the neighborhood? I think the movement has become more about branding than actual food quality, and that's worth debating.
