Should small manufacturers prioritize short-term cost over long-term stability?
During the pandemic, my company's supply chain fell apart because we relied on one overseas supplier, and I saw how fragile that was. We've since diversified, but it costs more and takes longer to coordinate. I wonder if the recent push for 'resilience' in logistics is actually just a buzzword that small businesses can't afford to implement, even if they want to.
