Advertising is often blamed for manipulating our choices, but I think it actually does more good than harm by making us aware of options we'd never discover on our own. When I look at how many products and services I've found through ads—from local restaurants to useful apps—I realize they save me time that I'd otherwise spend searching blindly. Sure, some ads are annoying or misleading, but the bad ones get filtered out eventually, and the overall system seems to balance itself. Would you agree that the benefits of advertising outweigh its downsides, or do you see it as a necessary evil at best?
