Do international breaks harm club football momentum?
Do international breaks kill the momentum of club football, or are they actually necessary for the sport's global growth? I get that national team matches give smaller countries a chance to shine, but as a Premier League fan, I can't help feeling frustrated when the season pauses just as things get intense. The travel fatigue for players is real too, and we've seen how it affects performances right after. I'm leaning towards saying the breaks do more harm than good at club level, but I'm open to being convinced otherwise.
