Can Art Be Truly Original Anymore or Is It All Borrowed?
What makes a piece of art truly original? I spent last weekend at a local gallery where half the exhibits referenced famous works, and it got me thinking about where inspiration ends and copying begins. Some argue that all art borrows from something, while others insist true originality still exists. Can we even define originality in art anymore, or is it just a matter of how well you disguise your influences?
