Is cable news now more entertainment than journalism?
Cable news channels have shifted so much toward opinion hosting that I'm not sure where reporting ends and commentary begins. I watched three different networks cover the same economic story last week, and each one framed it with a completely different emotional spin before the facts were even laid out. That makes me wonder if we're actually getting news or just curated narratives designed to keep us watching. Is it fair to call cable news a form of entertainment rather than journalism?
