Will cryptocurrencies ever replace traditional currencies?
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are often called the future of money, but after watching the market's wild swings over the last few years, I'm not convinced they will ever replace traditional currencies. The volatility alone makes them unreliable for everyday transactions—who wants to buy a coffee with an asset that can drop 20% in a week? Sure, they offer decentralization and hedge against inflation in some cases, but most people just speculate and hope for the next spike. We need to ask whether crypto is actually solving a real problem or just creating a new casino for investors.
