Binge-watching entire seasons in one sitting has ruined the weekly episode ritual, and I think that's a loss we don't talk about. When shows drop all at once, there's no shared cultural moment—nobody's discussing theories at work on Friday because everyone's already seen the ending. But then again, maybe the old model was just artificial scarcity, and letting people watch at their own pace respects their time more.
