Is Aristotle's virtue ethics still relevant in modern, fragmented societies?
Ancient Greek philosophy still fascinates me, but I wonder if its core ideas about virtue and the good life are too outdated for our modern, individualistic world. Take Aristotle's virtue ethics: it assumes we all share a common purpose and community standards, yet today we celebrate diverse lifestyles and personal definitions of meaning. Can we really apply his framework when our societies are so fragmented?
