Does streaming weaken our ability to appreciate full albums?
After collecting vinyl records for over a decade, I've noticed that the physical format forces a different kind of listening. Digital playlists encourage skipping, but a record side demands commitment from start to finish. This doesn't make vinyl objectively better, but I wonder if that forced attention changes how we connect with music. Do you think streaming has actually weakened our ability to appreciate full albums, or is that just nostalgia talking?
