Ads are everywhere on free apps, but do they really ruin the experience? I've noticed that when a banner pops up mid-task, I lose focus and sometimes even abandon the app altogether. Yet, I also understand that developers need revenue to keep the lights on and servers running. Maybe the real issue isn't ads themselves but how intrusive they are. Should we accept them as a fair trade-off for free services?
